Position Summary

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher-level supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completes basic operations and management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.

Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for consideration for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the store management team in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the Operations or Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth store operations, and completes all opening and closing procedures.

Required Qualifications

Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, and advanced communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail

Education

High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Anticipated weekly hours: 40
Time type: Full time
Pay range: $17.10 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
