Position Summary

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing assigned work to develop management skills, learning about customer loyalty, and CVS/pharmacy culture. Upon successful completion, trainees are eligible for promotion to supervisory positions, supporting store management in operations, performance, and customer service, especially when no manager is onsite.

Essential Functions

1. Management
2. Work effectively with store management and staff.
3. Supervise store crew, assign tasks, and ensure follow-up.
4. Communicate effectively with management and staff.

2. Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
3. Promote CVS customer service culture (greeting, helping, thanking).
4. Handle customer relations per company policy, fostering positive experiences.
5. Maintain customer confidentiality.

Required Qualifications

Strong deductive reasoning, analytical, and computer skills. Excellent communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Anticipated weekly hours: 40

Time type: Full time

Pay range: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
