The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher-level supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned work to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These roles support store management in driving store performance and fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, and computer proficiency. Strong communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
Anticipated Weekly Hours: 29
Time Type: Part-time
Pay Range: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
