A leading company is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee in Los Angeles. This entry-level role focuses on developing management skills, supporting store performance, and providing exceptional customer service. Eligible trainees may be promoted to Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor roles upon completing their training program.

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher-level supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to gain experience in management, completes basic operations and management skills training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for consideration for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the store management team in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the Operations or Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes all opening and closing procedures.
Required: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, advanced communication skills, flexible schedule including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred: Retail experience.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated weekly hours: 24
Time type: Part-time
Pay range: $18.72/hour (base salary varies based on experience, education, geography, and other factors)
