The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher-level supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to develop supervisory skills, completes basic management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These leadership roles support the store management team by driving store execution and performance while fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and manages opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, overnight shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

The typical pay range is $16.00 - $24.00 per hour. The actual salary depends on experience, education, location, and other factors.
