The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs work as directed to gain experience in management skills, learn about key aspects of the business—such as building customer loyalty through exceptional service—and understand CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support store management in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, and advanced communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

The typical pay range for this role is $16.00 - $24.00 per hour. Actual salary depends on experience, education, location, and other factors.
