The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing directed work to gain supervisory experience, completing management skills training, and learning about key business aspects like building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful training completion, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the store management team in driving store performance and fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Required Qualifications: Deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, advanced communication skills, flexible schedule including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications: Retail experience.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
