The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher-level supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs assigned tasks to build skills in operations and management, learns about the business (e.g., building customer loyalty through exceptional service), and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of training, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisor positions. These roles support store management in driving store performance and customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, and advanced communication skills. Flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
Anticipated weekly hours: 40
Time type: Full-time
Pay range: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour, based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
