A leading health solutions company is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee in Maryville, TN. This entry-level role prepares individuals for higher supervisory positions by providing essential training in store operations and customer service. The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares an employee for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to gain the skills necessary for future supervisory responsibilities, completes basic operations and management training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the CVS Store Management team in executing store operations and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the Operations or Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, and advanced communication skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
