The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares an employee to take on higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing tasks as directed to prepare for future supervisory responsibilities, completing basic operations and management skills training, and learning about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.

Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support store management in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions

• Management: Work effectively with store management and staff, supervise activities, and communicate effectively.
• Customer Service: Assist customers, promote CVS service culture, handle customer issues, maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning, analytical, and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills.
• Flexible schedule, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.

Additional Details
