The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares an employee for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing tasks as directed, completing basic management training, and learning about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service.

Upon successful training completion, trainees are considered for promotion to supervisory positions, supporting store management in driving store performance and ensuring smooth operations when managers are not onsite.

Essential Functions

• Management skills including supervising store staff, assigning tasks, and effective communication.
• Customer service skills including assisting customers, handling complaints, and promoting CVS’s customer service culture.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, and computer proficiency.
• Flexible schedule, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required.

• Anticipated weekly hours: 29

• Pay Range: $16.00 per hour
