The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing directed work to gain supervisory skills, completing basic operations and management training, and learning about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These leadership roles support store management in driving store execution and performance while fostering customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Required Qualifications: Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications: Retail experience
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated weekly hours: 29
Time Type: Part-time
Pay Range: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience and other factors.
