The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs work as directed, completes basic operations and management skills training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are considered for promotion to open supervisory positions, which support store management in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and is responsible for opening and closing procedures.
Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
Anticipated weekly hours: 29
Time type: Part time
Pay range: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and location.
