Position Summary

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves performing tasks as directed to gain necessary skills, completing basic operations and management training, and understanding key aspects of the business (e.g., building customer loyalty through exceptional service) and CVS/pharmacy culture.

Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These leadership roles support the store management team in driving store performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.

Required Qualifications

Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Additional Details

Anticipated Weekly Hours: 20

Time Type: Part-time

Pay Range: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, location, and other factors.
