Position Summary

The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position that prepares employees for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. Trainees perform assigned work to develop management skills, learn about key business aspects like building customer loyalty through exceptional service, and understand CVS/pharmacy culture.

Upon successful completion of the training, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisor positions. These leadership roles support store management in driving performance and building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the supervisor leads store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions

Required Qualifications

Deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer proficiency, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail

Pay Range

The typical pay range is $20.12 per hour. Actual salary depends on experience, education, location, and other factors.
