Job summary

Bally's in Atlantic City is seeking a Surveillance Officer to monitor casino activities and ensure compliance with NJ regulations and company policies. You will observe guests and employees via CCTV, record incidents, and report to supervisors.

The role involves supervising the surveillance shift when the supervisor is away, assisting with training, and maintaining confidentiality while promoting positive relations with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Observe activities of casino guests and employees using CCTV.

• Oversee daily operations of surveillance shift when supervisor is absent.
• Assist with training and mentoring of surveillance staff.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulations and company policies.
• Complete incident reports and daily logs; communicate with responders as needed.
• Develop skilled staff and uphold service standards; address performance as required.

Job description

• May perform duties of a Surveillance Officer.
• Observes activities of casino guests and employees.
• Monitors all casino operations, including table games, slots, cashiering cage and count rooms, by way of the closed-circuit television (CCTV) system for criminal activity and/or violations of NJ regulations and company policies and procedures.
• Records and documents such activities where appropriate and report the activities to appropriate officials.
• Monitors property alarms and communicates effectively with responding parties.
• Completes detailed incident reports and daily logs.
• Responsible for daily operations of surveillance shift, in absence of shift supervisor
• Assists with training and mentoring of surveillance staff.
• Promotes positive public relations.
• Handles sensitive information and maintains confidentiality.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• NOTE: EMPLOYEES MUST ADHERE TO THE REGULATIONS SET FORTH IN N.J.A.C. 13:69D-1.10 and 1.11 AND MUST SIGN AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THESE REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO BEING EMLOYED IN THE SURVEILLANCE DEPARTMENT.

• Supervises and trains Surveillance Officers according to standard operating procedures.
• Observes and records any irregular activities as required.
• Recommends policy changes to the Surveillance Manager.
• Completes special assignments for upper management as requested.
• Other duties as assigned.

Target Salary Range:

• $28.84 Hourly
