Job summary

CVS Health in New York, NY is seeking a full-time Shift Supervisor to support store management, drive store execution, and build customer loyalty through excellent service. When managers are away, you lead the team and ensure opening and closing procedures are completed.

You will supervise staff, handle customer questions and complaints, merchandise and stock shelves, manage displays, and maintain confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.
• Preferred: Experience as a retail supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Lead store staff in the absence of the manager and ensure opening/closing procedures are completed.
• Supervise the store crew by directing and following up on activities.
• Communicate effectively with store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service culture by greeting customers and offering help.
• Handle customer relations per policy and maintain confidentiality.
• Price merchandise and stock shelves.
• Execute displays, signs and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
• Maintain off-shelf merchandise and reset departments following planograms (POGs).
