Job summary

Siren Triton LLC is hiring a Shift Supervisor for a licensed Starbucks location on the UCSD campus in La Jolla, San Diego. Lead baristas during shifts, coach the team, and ensure beverage quality and customer satisfaction.

Previous barista and customer service experience are required. You should be able to delegate tasks, work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Barista experience is required.
• 6 months of customer service experience with regular customer interaction.
• 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to direct, support and coach others.
• Basic math and cash handling skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Direct and support baristas during assigned shifts.
• Coach team members in beverage preparation, customer service and safety.
• Delegate tasks and coordinate team activities for efficient workflow.
• Provide high-quality customer service and handle concerns professionally.
• Prepare beverages/food according to standard recipes and requests.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store per food safety standards.
• Communicate needs and updates to store management.
