This role is subject to regulatory approvals and CVS's completion of the acquisition of assets related to your current Rite Aid store.

Position Summary

A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes all opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions
  1. Management
  2. Work effectively with store management and staff.
  3. Supervise store crew by assigning, directing, and following up on activities.
  4. Communicate effectively with management and staff.
  5. Customer Service
  6. Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
  7. Promote CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, thank).
  8. Handle customer relations issues per company policy and promote a positive shopping experience.
  9. Maintain customer/patient confidentiality.
  10. Merchandise/Presentation
  11. Price merchandise.
  12. Stock shelves.
  13. Implement displays, signage, and inventory for weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.
  14. Display and maintain off-shelf merchandise.
  15. Reset departments following POGs.
Required Qualifications
  • Deductive reasoning, analytical, and computer skills.
  • Advanced communication and supervision skills.
  • Flexible schedule, including early mornings, overnights, weekends, and responding to urgent issues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a retail supervisor.
Education

High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
