Job summary

Enviva is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead daily plant operations, monitor production efficiency, and maintain safety on the shop floor. The role involves directing tasks, tracking performance, and ensuring compliance with documentation and reporting requirements.

This is a hands-on supervisory position within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in industrial/manufacturing experience or wood products background.
• Proficient in basic computer knowledge.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be a team player; prior management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the plant delivering key performance indicators (safety, quality, production and cost).
• Maintain documentation on employee performance and accountability to drive performance.
• Ensure a safe working environment is established and maintained.
• Enforce good housekeeping standards.
• Provide direction to team regarding duties and goals.
• Ensure paperwork and status reporting are completed timely and accurately.
• Ensure daily and consistent communications and shift meetings.
• Perform work assigned by Production Manager to ensure successful operation.
