Job summary

Enviva LP is seeking a Shift Supervisor to lead and manage plant shifts, ensuring efficient and safe operations. The role involves assigning tasks, monitoring productivity, and addressing issues on the production floor while ensuring equipment is used and maintained properly.

The supervisor will provide regular reports on production progress and work with the Production Manager to meet safety, quality, and cost KPIs. Outdoor/environmental conditions and long shifts are possible in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years industrial/manufacturing experience/wood products background.
• Must be proficient in basic computer knowledge.
• Must be self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be a team player/previous management a plus.

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing the shift to ensure efficient and safe operations. Preferred Qualifications - What Will Set You Apart

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Associate degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Working Conditions

• Must be able to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees
• Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment
• Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and overnight to address unexpected site issues.
• Climb ladders and work off elevated surfaces on an occasional basis up to 100 ft
• Must be able to push, pull and lift items up to 50 lbs
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
