Job summary

Enviva is seeking a Production Supervisor to manage day-to-day plant operations in a safety-focused environment in Greenwood, SC. You will drive performance by overseeing safety, quality, production, and cost KPIs while guiding a team through clear duties and goals.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and nights. Physical readiness to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in industrial/manufacturing roles.
• Proficient with basic computer use.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and overnight.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders up to 100 ft.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day plant operations delivering key metrics (safety, quality, production, cost).
• Maintain documentation on employee performance and accountability to drive improvement.
• Ensure a safe working environment is established and maintained.
• Provide direction to team regarding duties and goals.
• Ensure paperwork and status reporting are completed timely and accurately.
• Conduct daily shift communications and meetings.
• Perform assignments from Production Manager to ensure successful operation.

• Manage day-to-day operations of the plant delivering key performance indicators (safety, quality, production and cost).
• Maintain documentation on employee performance and accountability to drive performance.
• Ensure a safe working environment is established and maintained.
• Provide direction to team regarding duties and goals.
• Ensure paperwork & status reporting are completed timely and accurately
• Ensure daily and consistent communications and shift meetings.
• Perform work assigned by Production Manager to ensure successful operation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years industrial/manufacturing experience/wood products background.
• Must be proficient in basic computer knowledge.
• Must be self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be a team player/previous management a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Associate degree or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and overnight to address unexpected site issues.
• Climb ladders and work off elevated surfaces on an occasional basis up to 100 ft
• Must be able to push, pull and lift items up to 50 lbs
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
