Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Part-time Shift Supervisor to support the Store Management team in executing daily operations and building customer loyalty through excellent service. In the absence of a manager, you lead staff, complete opening and closing procedures, and ensure smooth store performance.

You will supervise crew, communicate with management, assist customers, merchandise and price items, stock shelves and maintain a welcoming shopping environment, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.
• Advanced communication skills and supervision skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some early morning, overnight and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Responsibilities

• Lead store staff in the absence of a manager or Operations Supervisor.
• Supervise the store crew by assigning, directing and following up on all tasks.
• Communicate effectively with store management and crews.
• Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints.
• Promote CVS customer service culture: greet, offer help, and thank.
• Handle all customer relations issues per company policy and maintain confidentiality.
• Merchandise and presentation: price merchandise, stock shelves, and execute displays and inventory.
• Reset departments following POGs and maintain off-shelf merchandise.
• Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed and store operations run smoothly.
