CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee in Rockingham, NC. This entry-level position prepares candidates for supervisory roles, focusing on building customer loyalty and learning essential management skills. Successful candidates will gain experience necessary for promotion to Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles, such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The trainee performs tasks as directed to gain supervisory experience, completes basic management and operations training, and learns about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for consideration for promotion to open Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor positions. These leadership roles support the store management team by driving store execution and performance, and focusing on excellent customer service to build consumer loyalty. In the absence of a manager, the Operations or Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent. The role requires retail experience, deductive reasoning, analytical skills, computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
The pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary, depending on the position. The actual offer depends on experience, education, location, and other factors.
