CVS Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor Trainee for a short-term, entry-level position focused on preparing employees for supervisory roles. This role encompasses management training, customer service excellence, and operational tasks to drive store performance and customer loyalty.
The Shift Supervisor Trainee role is an entry-level, short-term position designed to prepare employees for higher supervisory roles such as Operations Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. The role involves completing work as directed, undergoing basic operations and management training, and learning about key aspects of the business, including building customer loyalty through exceptional service and understanding CVS/pharmacy culture.
Upon successful completion of the training program, trainees are eligible for promotion to open supervisory positions. These leadership roles support the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution, performance, and customer loyalty through excellent service. When no manager is onsite, the Operations or Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and oversees opening and closing procedures.
Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in retail, deductive reasoning, analytical and computer skills, advanced communication skills, and flexibility to work early mornings, overnights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or full-time salary, depending on the position, with actual offers based on experience, education, location, and other factors.
