Job summary

Ambros Foods, LLC seeks a Shift Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager by leading restaurant operations during shifts and delivering a positive guest experience. This role ensures food quality, safety, and adherence to Pizza Hut procedures, while guiding a team to execute tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, maintaining standards, handling guest concerns, supporting promotions, and assisting with inventory and opening/closing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead shifts and ensure Pizza Hut standards are met.
• Maintain food quality, accuracy, cleanliness and speed.
• Guide team members and provide support during shifts.
• Ensure friendly, professional, timely service for guests.
• Address guest concerns per company standards (B.L.A.S.T.).
• Support promotions, new products and initiatives.
• Coach and develop team members; assign tasks as needed.
• Reinforce performance, attendance, safety and conduct rules.
• Assist training of new and existing staff.
• Recognize performance and report concerns to management.
• Promote teamwork and open communication.
• Follow cash-handling, safety and security procedures.
• Complete cash counts, reconciliations and shift docs.
• Report discrepancies and protect assets.
• Ensure a clean, safe and sanitary restaurant.
• Ensure food is prepared, stored and served to standard.
• Follow safety and health requirements; address unsafe conditions.
• Follow policies and ensure compliance during shifts.
• Monitor staffing and inventory; adjust as needed.
• Communicate major concerns to the GM.
• Assist with opening/closing; perform other duties.
