Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a Shift Supervisor in California to lead daily operations, ensure quality beverages and food, and coach a small team in a fast-paced retail environment. You will model hospitality, manage workflow, and uphold safety and store policies.

The role requires customer-facing experience, ability to delegate, and flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Starbucks offers substantial benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers
• At least six (6) months of experience delegating tasks to other employees and/or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees
• Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers
• Ability to direct the work of others
• Ability to learn quickly
• Effective oral communication skills
• Knowledge of the retail environment

Responsibilities

• Lead with craft and heart to make the coffeehouse a welcoming space for the community.
• Ensure store policies and standards are followed, including quality beverages and food, cash handling, and safety.
• Direct and coordinate tasks of team members to meet customer needs and store goals.
• Provide training and guidance to new staff and support ongoing team development.
