Shift Supervisor - Lead Barista, Starbucks, Queens, #1025

Gopuff is seeking a Shift Supervisor for our Starbucks Operations team. Reporting to the Regional Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring order accuracy and efficient delivery to customers. The role involves assisting the regional manager in store operations during scheduled shifts, deploying and delegating tasks to baristas to create the Starbucks Experience, and modeling standards in accordance with Starbucks and Gopuff policies.

Responsibilities include:

• Promoting integrity, honesty, and adherence to company values
• Maintaining composure during high-volume periods
• Evaluating environment to anticipate customer and store needs
• Communicating effectively with the team and manager
• Training new employees and providing performance feedback
• Fostering a positive learning environment
• Building positive relationships with team members
• Executing store operations during shifts
• Organizing opening and closing duties
• Maintaining attendance and punctuality
• Ensuring quality standards for beverages and food products

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant, or similar, with preferred 1-year café leadership
• ServeSafe Certification preferred
• Experience in fast-paced cafés preferred
• Flexibility with work hours
• Positive attitude towards team members
• Adaptability to technology
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Focus on quality and attention to detail

Pay:

• Queens, NY: $19.85/hour, based on market and location
