Job summary

RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc. is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a winning team during each shift and uphold high service and quality standards.

You will guide food service, stocking, cleaning, and cash handling while coaching team members and addressing guest concerns with empathy. You will drive operational excellence by ensuring inventory accuracy, vendor check-ins, and promotional execution, while maintaining safety and cleanliness across the store.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of work experience in retail, restaurant, or food service.
• 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Comfort in fast-paced, high-volume guest-focused environments.
• Ability to follow through on tasks and coach others to do the same.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Winning Team on Your Shift: set a cheerful, can-do tone, guide food service, stocking, cleaning, or cash handling; coach team members in real time.
• Drive Operational Excellence: train to meet guest service, food safety, and cleanliness standards; oversee inventory, vendor check-ins, and promotions.
• Model Communication & Accountability: relay updates from leadership, monitor tasks, provide feedback, foster teamwork and accountability.
