Job summary

Morrison Living in Towson, MD is hiring immediately for a full-time Shift Supervisor at Pickersgill Retirement Community. You will direct the activities of associates during a shift, ensure that daily tasks meet quality and safety standards, and coordinate with the culinary team to maintain high service levels.

The schedule is 11:30 am to 8:00 pm with rotating weekends; a two-year front-of-house background in a senior living setting is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of front of house experience in a senior living setting.
• Ability to direct a shift and manage staff effectively.
• Customer service focus in a hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure policies are followed.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance and reward high performers or correct underperformers.
• Prepare production or sales reports and ensure quality, productivity and safety.
• Serve as the contact for employees with complaints or time-off requests.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage career progression.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary
