Job summary

Compass Group USA, ESFM division, is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor in Spartanburg, SC. The role oversees a shift, directs associates, and ensures policy adherence while managing schedules and training.

The position requires at least 1 year of prior supervisor experience; prior janitorial experience is preferred. This is a full-time role with various shifts and a pay rate of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensure completion of assigned tasks while following policy and procedures.

• Prepare production or sales reports and ensure quality, productivity and safety targets are met.
• Serve as the point of contact for employee questions or requests for time off.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.

• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
