Job summary

Compass Group USA's ESFM division is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor in Juncos, PR, to oversee associates on a specific shift, ensure adherence to policies, and maintain safety and quality standards.

The role requires leadership experience in janitorial supervision (1 year preferred), scheduling, training, and performance evaluation. The position offers a competitive hourly wage and benefits as part of ESFM's associates program.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure duties are completed per policy.
• Provide training and create work schedules for the team.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers and address underperformance.
• Prepare production or sales reports and ensure quality, productivity, and safety.
• Serve as the point of contact for employee concerns or requests for time off.
• Mentor staff and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
