Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group company, is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor for Prisma Health Oconee in Seneca, SC. You will direct shift activities, ensure policy compliance, and oversee meal service in a high-volume hospital setting.

The role requires 5 years of cooking experience and leadership ability; schedule is Thursday through Monday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $20.00 per hour with benefits and potential shift premium.

• Previous leadership experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensure that assigned tasks meet policy and procedure.
• Train staff and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance and reward or discipline accordingly.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and monitor quality, productivity, and safety.
• Act as a contact for employee questions, time-off requests, and conflicts.
• Mentor staff and encourage career growth within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
