Job summary

SSC Services for Education in Neenah, WI, is seeking a full-time Shift Supervisor to direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure that all job expectations are completed in line with policy and procedures.

The role emphasizes training, scheduling, performance evaluations and mentoring, with opportunities for growth within a nationwide facility services team. This 2nd shift position is Monday–Friday with hours that may vary.

Qualifications

• Prior custodial experience is preferred.
• Ability to train and schedule staff.
• Experience evaluating performance and addressing discipline as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure assigned job expectations are completed per policy.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance, reward high performers and address underperformance.
• Serve as the liaison for employee concerns and time-off requests.
• Mentor employees and encourage advancement within the organization.

• Location : Neenah Joint School - 410 South Commercial Street, Neenah, WI 54956. (Openings at other locations within school district available) Note: online applications accepted only .

• Schedule : Full time schedule; Monday through Friday, hours may vary. 2nd shift. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)

• Requirement : Prior custodial experience is preferred.

• Pay Range: $18.00 per hour to $20.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.

• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.

• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.

• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.

• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
