Job summary

Compass Group USA, through Flik Independent School Dining, is hiring immediately for a full-time SHIFT SUPERVISOR at Junipero Serra High School, 451 West 20th Avenue, San Mateo, CA 94403. This on-site role requires prior school production experience and a Monday–Friday schedule with variable hours.

Compensation ranges from $27.00 to $32.00 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for growth. The Shift Supervisor will direct associates, train staff, review performance, and ensure quality,

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance of workers, reward high performers and discipline underperformers.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure quality, productivity and safety.
• Act as contact person for employee requests for time off and conflicts.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
