This position involves assisting the Store Manager in leading initiatives, ensuring productivity, training staff, driving sales, managing expenses, and maintaining compliance with company policies. Shift Supervisors aim to exceed customer expectations by delivering a WOW! shopping experience daily.

Position Responsibilities

1. Assist Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing store personnel.
2. Manage store operations and the commercial department during shifts in the absence of the Store Manager or Commercial Sales Manager.
3. Oversee management of the Commercial and Hub Departments to ensure service and delivery standards.
4. Delegate merchandising tasks and ensure their timely completion.
5. Operate cash registers and handle cash responsibilities, including deposits and petty cash.
6. Follow all company policies, including loss prevention procedures.
7. Use ZNET to assist customers in locating merchandise or alternatives.
8. Maintain a safe working environment, including PPE compliance.
9. Monitor cash flow, inventory, and security.
10. Maintain store appearance, merchandising standards, and sales productivity.
11. Conduct opening and closing procedures.
12. Manage emergency situations following proper protocols.
13. Provide feedback on AutoZoners' performance.
14. Monitor and manage risk and safety activities.
15. Address and resolve customer concerns to turn complaints into compliments.
16. Process returns and manage inventory effectively.
17. Communicate issues to the Store Manager promptly and confidentially.
18. Motivate staff to deliver excellent customer service, increase productivity, and promote sales.

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• High integrity and excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to drive customer service.
