Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor at Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Elk Grove Village, IL. The role oversees shift activities, ensures policies are followed, and schedules and trains staff to meet quality, productivity, and safety goals. • Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
• Provide training and create work schedules for staff.
• Evaluate performance of workers, reward high performers, and discipline underperformers.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure unit meets quality, productivity and safety expectations.
• Act as a point of contact for employees with complaints or time-off requests.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
