Job summary

Compass Group USA, through TouchPoint Support Services, is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, IL. You will direct associates on a shift, train staff, and ensure quality, safety, and timely task completion.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with rotating weekends; pay ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 per hour. TouchPoint offers benefits and training to associates, with opportunities for growth within the team.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, retail, coffee shop, and food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a shift and ensure assigned tasks are completed.
• Provide training and create work schedules.
• Evaluate performance and address issues to maintain quality, productivity and safety.
• Prepare reports for management on performance and outcomes.
• Be the point of contact for employee requests and time-off.
• Mentor staff and encourage advancement within the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Summary: Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and oversee that assigned job expectations are completed while policy and procedure is maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
