Job summary

Compass Group USA, in partnership with Bon Appétit Management Company, is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. You will direct associates on the shift, train staff, and ensure policy compliance.

Open availability is required; prior supervisory experience is preferred and training is offered. Benefits include a free shift meal and parking or MARTA card, with a pay range of $20.25–$21.38 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensure tasks meet policy and procedure.

• Serve as the main contact for employee requests and time-off concerns.

• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
