Job summary

Chartwells Higher Ed Dining Services at Wagner College in Staten Island, NY is hiring a full-time Shift Supervisor. The role directs associates during a shift, manages production and service quality, and ensures policy compliance.

• Experience supervising food service teams.
• Ability to create and adjust staff schedules.
• Strong communication and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating performance, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet standards.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• Mentor and develop employees and encourage advancement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
