Job summary

Burger King is hiring at our Chicago area restaurant to join a fast-paced team. As a shift supervisor, you will supervise, train and motivate staff, ensure orders are prepared promptly and courteously, and foster enthusiastic customer service.

You will take inventory, manage stock to prevent shortages, handle cash during shift changes and closing, and support a smooth operation in a high-volume environment. Strong written and verbal communication, reliability and good math skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervises trains, motivates and leads employees to maintain enthusiastic customer service.
• Ensure orders are taken in a prompt, accurate and courteous manner.
• Resolves customer concerns.
• Takes inventory of stock during shift to determine ordering needs and quantity of supplies required to prevent shortages.
• Counts cash on hand at shift change and at closing to determine shortages or overages and prepare bank deposit statements.
• Ability to supervise, train and motivate team members.
