SBA Home North Carolina is the first production facility in the United States by SBA Group, a furniture manufacturer from the EU member country of Lithuania, with operations starting in late 2025. Over 250 talented professionals will work here and build their careers. It will be a highly robotic and automated factory with products reaching millions of homes in the US.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Shift Supervisor who is result-oriented, self-starter, and eager to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Working hours are 6–2 pm (1st shift) or 2–10 pm (2nd shift). This role will train on 1st shift and move to 2nd shift after training is completed.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Leadership
- Supervise, coach, and support production employees to meet daily and weekly production goals
- Assign work schedules and ensure proper staffing across production areas
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
- Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Logistics teams
- Monitor production lines to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with established processes and quality standards
- Safety & Compliance
- Promote and maintain a strong safety culture
- Report, investigate, and address incidents and near-misses
- Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor product quality during and after production
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce waste
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and employee training
- Work closely with Quality Control to resolve production issues
- Administrative Duties
- Complete production reports, timekeeping, and shift documentation
- Track material usage, scrap, and downtime
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Shift Supervisor or leading teams
- Strong knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety standards

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules and technical documents
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions
- Must be flexible to work weekends and varying shifts
