Shift Supervisor

We are looking for a Shift Supervisor to lead store operations, drive sales and service performance, and create memorable experiences for guests.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Shift Supervisors curate memorable experiences for our guests and the CBTL team daily. They run shifts, lead the store team and make decisions that impact store operations.

What you will measure and blend:

• Create coffee moments—share your knowledge of coffee, our sustainability practices and product with guests.
• Lead by example. Advocate for your team through coaching and training to drive sales and service performance.
• Be a coffee & tea expert. Bring the passion, share it with guests.
• Generate new guests. First‑time store visitors and online customers are both part of your outreach.
• Care about safety. Keep employees and guests safe in the workplace.
• Contribute ideas and help with store tasks such as cleaning, stock organization and process improvement.
• Be an advocate for the brand and connect with the local community.

Working conditions:

• Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, repetitive motion, sitting.
• Medium work—exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, or up to 30 pounds frequently, or up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
• Both environmental conditions: indoor and outdoor. Extreme cold (<32°F) and extreme heat (>100°F) for extended periods.
• Noise: sufficient to require shouting to be heard above ambient levels.
• Hazards: proximity to moving mechanical parts, vehicles; requiring navigation of narrow aisles or passageways.
