Woodsage LLC in Ohio is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee daily production operations on the designated shift. You will lead a team, ensure adherence to safety policies, and execute the production plan with a focus on quality and efficiency.

The role requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, knowledge of safety regulations, and familiarity with Quality Management Systems. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success.

The Shift Supervisor's responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

• Ensure the compliance to all safety policies and procedures
• Support the vision, mission and guiding principles of Woodsage LLC.
• Ensure compliance to company policies and procedures as defined in the Employee Handbook.
• Oversee shift operations by executing the designated production plan.
• Responsible for daily communication of individual production activities.
• Responsible for training and ensuring competence of employees.
• Communicate and provide feedback to team daily
• Evaluate and document performance by utilizing the Woodsage employee performance review process
• Oversee general operations of the by:
• Communicating expectations to employees.
• Routinely verifying employees are on task.
• Evaluating and documenting employee performance.
• Assisting with problem resolution.
• Ensuring compliance to safety and handbook policies and procedures.
• Ensuring completion of all appropriate documentation related to employees or production.
• Communicate issues with Director of Operations.
• Assist Human Resources and Management with maintaining proper staffing levels.
• Ensure cleanliness and housekeeping levels are kept at a satisfactory level through the plant.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• 3-5 years Supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting
• Knowledge or training in safety regulations and safe work practices
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO 9000)
• Strong abilities in problem-solving, adaptability, and communication
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
