Job summary

Digital Room in Brooklyn, OH is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the 3rd shift (Sunday to Thursday, 10:00pm–6:00am). You will lead a 20–30 person team, ensure safety, and drive production efficiency in a fast-paced printing environment.

The role requires at least 5 years in a supervisory/production scheduling capacity, strong MS Office skills, and a focus on continuous improvement. Local candidates preferred for an on-site operation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a leadership/supervisory/production scheduling role in manufacturing.
• Ability to supervise 20-30 employees fairly and consistently.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
• Experience with MIS and production management software.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise 20-30 employees on a 3rd shift in a Brooklyn, OH plant.
• Conduct 1:1 meetings and regular performance reviews.
• Plan and schedule presses using Offset Press Manager and Canon scheduler.
• Set short and long-term goals using reports and provide feedback.
• Coordinate cross-training and daily management huddles.
• Motivate staff to maintain safety and productivity.

Duties & Responsibilities

• At least 5 years' experience in a leadership/supervisory/production scheduling position, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated ability to confidently supervise others fairly and consistently. Able to manage 20-30 employees
• Knowledgeable in safety procedures, OSHA regulations, etc.
• Experience using Management Information Systems and other production management software.
• Proficient in office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Enthusiasm for problem-solving and continuous process improvement.
• Must be able to see, hear, and speak within normal limits in order to effectively communicate with others in production areas.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be willing/able to stand for the entire 8-hour shift.
• Create and present constructive Actions.
• Conduct regular 1:1 Meetings with employees.
• Performance Reviews - continually observe and track work performance throughout the entire year.
• Schedule Presses utilizing Offset Press Manager system and Canon gang scheduler.
• Set short and long term goals using provided reports, providing continuous feedback.
• Cross-training - offer opportunities to learn new machine and processes
• Hold daily huddle meetings with management and team leads.
• Great motivational skills.
