Beat The Bomb Atlanta is seeking a part-time Shift Supervisor to lead both front-of-house and back-of-house teams in a fast-paced paint-blast entertainment venue. This role offers potential to advance to full-time as the location grows.

You will oversee guest experiences, reservations, and daily operations, ensuring safety and high service standards while coordinating with the General Manager on scheduling and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles in a bar, restaurant or entertainment facility.
• Enjoy engaging with people and delivering great guest experiences.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced, paint-blast environment.
• Able to stand, move and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure a smooth guest experience.
• Manage guest reservations and coordinate opening/closing procedures.
• Support General Manager with scheduling and event coordination.
• Respond to customer inquiries and reviews across channels.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist with game play issues and tech support as needed.
• Provide leadership and training to team, leading by example.

The Atlanta Location

Located in Atlanta's rapidly growing Upper Westside neighborhood, this is our 2nd location and opened in October 2022. The 10,000+ square foot location offers our classic Mission experiences with glass-walled bomb rooms; 4 immersive arcade lounges ('Game Bays'); street food and a full selection of beer, wine, cocktails & signature slushies @ The Bomb Bar; a beer garden with sports viewing; and several dedicated private event spaces for large groups. Part Time with potential to go Full Time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

A Shift Supervisor is charged with creating a one-of-a-kind experience for both Beat The Bomb's customers and fellow team members. Beat The Bomb Shift Supervisors must be natural leaders and adaptable. In addition to being a team lead, they will need to be experts in both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) roles, understanding all elements of the Beat The Bomb operation.

Responsibilities

• Set the tone for the rest of the team with a customer focused engagement: lead by example!
• Manage all aspects of a guest reservation
• Opening and closing of the location and all associated responsibilities
• Assist General Manager with scheduling as requested
• Respond to online Customers Reviews
• Manage special events such corporate events, school outings and kids birthdays
• Customer Service: support as needed on all customer questions:
  • In our facility
  • On the phone
  • Through email
  • Via social media
• Responsible for facility upkeep and cleanliness
• Monitor and report maintenance issues to the General Manager. We love hearing about potential solutions!
• Help manage tech and gameplay issues as they arise
• Execute all Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) Game Runner duties, including:
  • Guest check-in and team onboarding
  • Making sure all customer areas are presentable and clean
  • Taking customer pictures
  • Manage game rooms and Bomb Room - blast customers with PAINT and FOAM!
  • Maintain a safe environment and facilitate a safe experience for our customers and fellow team members - everyone appreciates feeling taken care of!
  • Engage and have fun, then engage again and have more fun...with our customers
