Emerson in Chanhassen, MN is seeking a Production Supervisor for the second shift (Mon–Thu, 3:00 PM–1:30 AM). You will oversee production areas, drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement, and support staffing through interviews and recommendations.

The role emphasizes employee engagement and a positive, high-performing culture. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years of supervisory experience, with preference for lean manufacturing exposure.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and compliant workplace by maintaining standards and enforcing policies.
• Plan and oversee daily operations, assign work, rotate tasks, and monitor progress to meet production goals.
• Drive accountability by setting expectations for schedule, quality, and safety, and tracking results.
• Support staffing needs by participating in interviews and recommending candidates for open positions.
• Communicate with your team about business goals, performance, and company updates, fostering open dialogue.
• Coach and mentor employees with development discussions to encourage career growth and engagement.
