Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct and run day-to-day operations to exceed expectations.
• Increase production capacity while controlling costs and maintaining quality.
• Be responsible for production output and product quality.
• Allocate resources to maximize assets usage.
• Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
• Address employee issues or grievances.
• Stay up to date with production management best practices.
• Work with Vice President/General Manager on safety and maintenance.
• Assist Operations Manager in yard operations.
• Oversee forklift operation in shipping and receiving.
• Schedule and distribute sales orders.
• Perform cycle counts and inventories.
• Train and retrain employees.
• Operate forklift to meet schedule.
• Ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Maintain safety records.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
