Job summary

fairlife, LLC in Michigan is seeking a Packaging Supervisor to lead shift-level packaging operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced dairy production environment.

You will supervise packaging operators, coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, and Warehouse teams, manage sanitation and changeovers, and uphold GMP and food safety standards across the line.

Base pay is $85,000 per year with comprehensive benefits; travel about 10% and reports to the Packaging Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 1 year of supervisory experience in high-volume production.
• Experience leading packaging operations in a dairy environment preferred.
• Proven ability to coach, train, and hold employees accountable for safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own shift-level performance for packaging operations, including safety, quality, service, and cost.
• Directly supervise, coach, and develop packaging operators to meet daily production targets.
• Lead sanitation, changeovers, and planned shutdowns while adhering to schedules and standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse) on issues and improvements.
• Maintain GMP and food safety readiness and ensure accurate time/attendance administration.
