Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking an Administrator on Duty to oversee hospital functions during a designated shift. You will coordinate with the nursing staff, physicians, and department personnel to meet patients' needs and ensure safe, continuous care.

You will inform the on-call hospital administrator of urgent situations and manage staffing to maintain professional care levels throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing required.
• Two years experience in acute care facility expected.
• FL RN License, BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hospital functions on a designated shift and coordinate with nursing staff, physicians and department personnel.
• Inform hospital administrator on call of situations requiring attention and action.
• Manage staffing to ensure continuity of professional care across the shift.
